The mountains really add an intimidating, ominous effect. On the other hand, the land before the water and mountains, is quite simple. I am especially enchanted by the ghostly ship being blurred by effects of the sun.
I would have liked to see some more flora on the land or trailing about the mountain. It may have given it a more "primal" or untouched feel. The grass and soil beneath it is very nice. It gives the water a tide affect, being the grass is so short and patchy, it shows how the water may flood up the bank, even if you didn't intend for that effect it's still very lovely.
Now onto the water. I've almost never seen realistic artistic water. This, of course, is one of those view. It looks as though I could reach out and feel the coolness over my hand.
The reason I gave impact and originality lower ratings, is because the topic is quote popular. On the other hand, you gave your's a unique, whimsical, and playful twist. I really enjoyed this one, thanks for sharing. I look forward to more.
